Queer Futures: Media and Visual Arts
A two-week curated exhibition of visual and media work by Central Florida queer artists, with an opening reception and two artist talks.
Ten artists are shown across a two-week run, with daytime and early-evening public gallery hours that are separate from the venue's regular operation.
Each exhibiting artist receives an exhibition fee, and the artists giving talks are paid an honorarium.
This program uses a venue in which a CFQAI director holds a passive economic interest. It proceeds only under a written venue agreement, with comparable quotes from unrelated spaces on file, the interested director recused, and approval recorded by the disinterested directors.
